I have just added 22 wonderful new resources to Teaching Ideas. These have been contributed by the team at PurpleMash who have been busy making lots of interactive online app-tivities for children to use in their lessons. Examples of these include Lost Pet reports, character profiles about Superheroes and Settings description templates.

Although they’ve been specifically produced for use around Earth Day (April 21st) the ideas could easily be used at any time of the year.

http://www.nationalgrideducation.com/National Grid Education’s excellent School Power website covers the topics of Energy, Forces and Materials. The high quality teaching material includes interactive story books, experiment and activity ideas, presentations featuring great images, a very useful printable word bank and lots of curriculum links.
