Drawing material from past BBC programmes such as The Planets, The Sky at Night and Horizon (as well as new Wonders of the Solar System show) the site  includes images, facts, clips, videos and animations.

The site features posters, activity worksheets, videos, games and stories. Teachers can download a road safety education guidance booklet. There are also a collection of home-link sheets to encourage parental involvement.

Developed by Cycling England and the Department for Transport, Bikeability is the ‘cycling proficiency’ for the 21st Century – the scheme that gives kids the skills and confidence they need to cycle in modern road conditions.  The site includes information for teachers & schools as well as interactive, cross-curriculum classroom resources to help 9-11 year olds learn about the benefits of cycling for their health, the environment and the wider community. The materials are designed to fit into the existing curriculum, with clear links to Design and Technology, PSHE, PE and Geography.
